Well we are now into almost into Summer, and this Spring has been very wet. The wet weather has the grass growing like mad and has kept me out of the pool. But, with Summer and Gabbie coming to visit I am sure things will brighten up considerably. My business is finally off to [...] I know Eudene will accuse me of forgetting our anniversary, so I am posting it here as proof that I remembered. And just in case; it is our 24th, 25th is next year. A picture paint a thousand words: Spring in Maryland, or at least outside our house Prettier in Red Just watched the championship decider, a day late due to the Setanta TV broadcast delay, over at Owen’s . An exciting game with Wales having a chance to win the game in the last few minutes, but instead ireland wins and gets the Grand Slam. The morning started well with a great breakfast (brunch) [...] Matt is 21 years old today. We took him out to dinner at the Rams Head in Savage Mills and much to his delight the waitress carded him! He had gone out at lunch time and had a pint, but they did not ask him for ID and he was very disappointed. [...] Eudene took a well deserved week off and went out to Seattle to visit Ellen. They had a great time, and if I could get her to post she could go into detail about the wonderful time they had, but it is up to me to make a pitiful stab at it. I do [...] In tribute to the fact that this was our first Thanksgiving since becoming US Citizens, we headed out west to the wilds of West Virginia to experience what Thanksgiving was like for the early settlers. We were going to cook our turkey and feast in a log cabin up in the Appalachian mountains. Or [...] It was a November the 5th that Guy Fawkes tried to blow up Parliament in 1605 in an effort to change government. This November the 5th 2008 America woke up to a new era to be heralded in by the 44th President elect, but also the 1st mixed race President, Barack Obama. Running on [...] We have been doing a few “End of Summer” TagParty events and spent Labor Day at Owen’s & Deb’s playing “corn hole”, eating and drinking. This morning with a chill in the air and the sun shining I find myself reflecting back over the Summer, amazed at how fast the time has gone and [...] Today Matt graduated from Wyotech. CONGRATULATIONS Matt Eudene and I drove up in the morning, met with Matt and went on to the graduation ceremony.
