Las Vegas

Eudene joined me in Las Vegas for a couple of nights, as it was close to our birthdays and she needed a break. I was out there on work (Nellis Air Force Base, just north of Vegas) and was staying at the Ti (Treasure Island casino). After passing each other in Denver airport we meet up at the  Las Vegas airport and went to the hotel.

That evening we eat at the buffet in the Mirage and then walked up to the Bellagio to see the fountains. As usual they were spectacular and we stayed to watch 5 shows, we captured one that you can view here. After that we made our way back to the hotel via a stop at Harrah’s to grab a beer and be entertained by the Twins on the Dueling Pianos.

Thursday I headed off to work and Left Eudene to fend for herself,  which she seemed very happy to do! It turns out that the spa at Ti is wonderful and the massage, with exfoliation, leaves you soft skinned and refreshed. Work sucked in comparison, I had to do maintenance on the system in addition to the planned meeting.

A brief visit to the Venetian shops started the evening off well. We then had dinner at the Steak house in Ti and onto the show: Mystere – Circe du Soleil. Wow, what a great show; in addition to the great acrobatics the show was full of spectacular feats of strength and humerous inturludes.
